Free Estimates
To receive an estimate on your cabinetry project from TKC, please make an appointment with one of our qualified designers to visit our showroom. The initial visit will be so we can get an understanding for your project. We will discuss in detail: your budget, stylistic inclinations, accessories you would like in your new kitchen (bathroom, bookshelf, laundry room), etc. If you bring in a floor plan of the area, either a rough sketch done by you, or initial house plans, we can begin pricing out your project.
Since we provide factory custom cabinets, we price cabinetry projects out one cabinet at a time, meaning that we cannot give out a "ballpark" estimate.
There is no charge for this initial consultation and pricing. It’ is a good idea to bring photos of your existing project, or magazine cutouts of kitchen styles you like. Give us a call at

Design Retainer
Once you have received your estimate and have chosen to work with us for your project, the next step is to enter into a Design Retainer Agreement. This agreement solidifies Tallahassee Kitchen Center Inc. as your source for designing, specifying, and purchasing the cabinetry and countertops that will go into creating your new space.
The services included in the design retainer are as follows:
• On-site measurements of the existing space to be remodeled. New construction measurements taken from client supplied house plans and/or jobsite visitation.
• Cabinet floor plan, cabinet and countertop material selection, cabinet and countertop color coordination and order scheduling, and any other decisions necessary to order materials for your project
• Preliminary kitchen cabinet floor plan design with perspective drawings.
• Estimate for the cabinetry and countertop material and labor based on preliminary design.
• Alternate preliminary design sketches based on client input (up to four)
• Final floor plan with elevations and perspectives at the time of the signing of the purchase contract. Any changes after signing of the drawings and contract to be done by “Change Order” form and subject to additional charges.
The Design Retainer Agreement is not intended as a design service, and should only be entered into if client shall go forward with their project using TKC as their supplier for cabinetry and countertops. The amount of the retainer is deducted from the final payment of the contract, and the retainer is non-refundable.
